| I suspect everyone applying to a raiding guild will (should?) have all of these already but just in case, we require that you have installed, and know how to use, the following add-ons before raiding with the guild:
CT_RaidAssist OR Ora2 KLH Threat Meter (KTM) OR Omen Teamspeak RC2 (TS) Deadly Boss Mods OR BigWigs boss mods
We also use Guild Event Manager (GEM) for raid planning, so you will need that add-on too.
All available from Curse Gaming: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/
And that's the lot for now.

| Not sure of our guild makeup, but good (read essential) for Heal-adins are: Pallypower - Helps organise pally buffs and can shave quite a bit of time off the process. Healer's Assist - An all-round menagerie of utility for raid healers. And my personal favourite addon ArcHUD - Displays health, mana, mob health, casting time, mob casting time etc. in two arcs around your player. Makes seeing who is how healthy easy and doesn't require you to look around the screen for health. I'll add links later as my work web blocker doesn't like Curse... Boo! | |

| ora2+bigwigs very nice combo, lightweight - have happily used it since vanilla times omen > ktm
classes that can do anykinda decursing - decursive
ctraid etc are spawns of satan and memoryhogs
underlined stuff can be DL'd from http://files.wowace.com/ wowace has updater-addon aswell, but what ive heard it may endanger your account (never used it myself, always DLing addons manually and check em)

The updater is very, very dodgy indeed and only covers ace-2 add-ons anyway so my advice is to avoid it. Agree grade and comment on Ora2/Bigwigs much better than CT in memory terms.

Simple answer is: dont use it! oRA2 is superior in every way, less buggy, much smaller memory footprint... and it still talks to CT for those still living in the dark ages ^^
